The Beauty of Nature in Beautiful Candles

Bittersweet Candle Co is a small, handmade candle company nestled in the woods of upstate New York. Our wild surroundings provide endless inspiration from nature, seen especially in the beautiful, detailed, mini work of art candle labels we design for each scent. We also forage for leaves and flowers on and near our property to use in our pressed flower luminaries.

Our candles represent what we find to be peaceful and nourishing for the soul. We create rustic, elegant artisan home fragrance designs for candle lovers like you who value the serene beauty of nature and clean, non-toxic ingredients.

Non-Toxic, Plant Based, Renewable, Sustainable

We hand-pour our small batch soy wax candles and use lead-free, paper-cored cotton wicks. Complementing the nature-inspired appearance of our candles are the non-toxic, sustainable ingredients we use to create them.

We use pure, plant-based, renewable soy wax made from U.S.-grown soybeans, and scent our candles using essential oil-based fine fragrance oils free from phthalates, hormone disruptors, carcinogens, and neurotoxins often found in common commercial candles.
